Pool is a game where much concentration is needed. You need to be at the top of your focus to be able to play the game well. Usually on Sundays, my dad and I will go to Safra Tampines to have a game of pool. However, he was not free today as he needed to work.
I enjoy playing pool on Sundays because it allows me to relax after a long week. I can do things like listening to music while playing pool and it calms me down. It also takes away all the stress form school for the 2 hours that I usually play.
Since my father was not free today, I went to practise alone in view of improving my skills. Although it took me a longer time to reach Safra Tampines since I had to take public transport, I feel that it is worth to have a good 2 hours of pool. It was quite boring since I had to play myself. I just had to pot the balls all day. No other things to do.
I endured the sense of boredness for a while. After a while, it got very fun as i managed to pot the balls on a consistent basis. I was quite happy with myself as I think that this is the best I have ever played. Perhaps, it was the absense of my dad that allowed me to play this well?
Anyway, it was really something that i really enjoyed.

Today was our class barbeque! I had waited very long for this day after our form teacher, Mr Su, told us that we would be organising a class outing on the first day of school. On friday night, the day before the barbeque, I could not sleep because I was too excited. I kept thinking n what we would be doing and how fun it was going to be.
This afternoon, at around 2.30pm, a few of us went to the Subway at Parkway to have lunch. It was quite fun because while we were eating, we talked about anything that came to mind and we cracked many jokes. We went straight to school after that. We reached school at 3.40pm, and was not surprised to see only 2 of our classmates in school. After all, the arranged time was for us to meet at 4pm.
As most of our classmates were still not in school, about 10 of us started playing soccer in the field. Our form teacher soon reached and even joined us in playing soccer. We played for about half an hour before we needed to vacate the field because outsiders had already booked the field. We reluctantly left and went to the Indoor Sports Hall to play. This was when all the fun begin!
We splitted up into teams of 5 and played floorball. Almost everybody played, incuding our teacher. I was the goalkeeper for our team. Using my size to my advantage, I could block most of the balls that were shot at me. I was very happy because I only conceded 4 goals in the whole day. However, it was a team effort that prevented the opponents from scoring. I also found out another thing. My form teacher was very good at playing floorball!
Then, it was barbeque time. We had difficulty starting the fire at first. However, Mr Su then managed to get the fire going and we were still in high spirits. Soon, night had fall and we were almost done with the barbeque. We were all quite sad because everybody had fun at the barbeque.
The purpose was to bond our class and I thought that it worked very well because after this outing, we are definitely closer to each other.

In Victoria School, we usually have morning assembly and flag raising either in the school hall or in the parade square. Usually, we would have it in the hall on Mondays and at the parade square for the rest of the days. Today was a Thursday and since it did not rain, we had morning assembly at the parade square.
We have a dedicated 5 minutes in the morning for silent reading. This is to promote reading for all the students. On normal days, the 5 minutes would go by without any special happenings. However, during silent reading today, my friend Naufal, asked me to pull his finger. Thinking that he did it because he was bored, I did not hesitate and pulled his finger. What followed was just historical. Naufal let off a big fart. It was so loud that even the guy that was 4 students away could hear it.
Everyone who could hear it laughed. The following 1 minute was really a torture. As I was just seating next to him, I suffered the most. I had to hold my breath because it was so smelly. I was quite angry at Naufal for doing this although it was funny at first. I did not think that Naufal would do such a thing. What would people think of him? For instance, what would students from the other class behind us think? He would be labeled as a rude boy and things like that.
Before I could think about it, the flag-raising ceremony started.

It has been a normal Tuesday today, except for 1 thing, which i will share with you guys later. I came back from school at around 3 pm although my school ended at 2.15pm. After the long day and the bus trip, i was more than happy to reach home.
My friend and i agreed to go down to the nearby street soccer court which was about 2 blocks away. We left our house at 5 pm and planned to play until 6pm. before i needed to go home and do my homework. However, when we reached the court, we were surprise that the court was packed. We then roamed around the neighbourhood until we ended up at the nearby playground. I still cannot figure out how we ended up there.
We slacked on the see-saw for about an hour? Not very sure. Anyway, i have never had that much fun on a see-saw. Apart from the usual fun of pushing each other up into the air, we did much more things. We talked about our lives and the happenings in our school. We also discussed about the decision about entering our current schools right now. Althought it has been more than a year, we still had many things to talk about. We somehow regretted that our school was not a mixed school. Other than that, i have nothing much to regret about coming to Victoria School.
We managed to find something to do since the street soccer court was packed. It turned out that just spending time at the playground and talking about our lives was very fun.

Today is the 17th of January. My cousin's birthday. Because it was her 21st birthday, she threw a birthday party. Being her relatives, my family got invited to her birthday party. My cousin is a very childish girl. Despite being 21 already, she still likes to play with soft toys. Unbelieveable right?
I was very excited in the morning when i woke up. I knew that the party would be very fun because it has been quite a while since i met my cousins and there was a lot of catching u to do. At the start of the party, we discussed general thing like how was our school going and what we have been up to.
The fun part was when we were going to cut the cake. Before that, was the customary 'happy birthday' song. When we were singing it, everybody had the feeling of " Wow, she is 21 years old already". We never knew that growing up was so fast. I could still remember when i was very young and she was only in primary school. A decade has indeed past by in a blink of an eye.
I sank the occasion in as everybody prompt her to make a birthday wish. I still could not believe that she was 21 already. Despite that, it was still suppose to be a happy occasion. We continued to play games after that and i really had a lot of fun. Although this birthday party was not with my friends, i could safely say that it is the best i have ever been to. Just the feeling of celebrating something with your family was enough to keep me satisfied. I cannot wait for the next family gathering. It was really a special moment that i would remember for the rest of my life.
Hope you enjoyed the post:)

Today was a really very bad day. Although I was excited at the start of the day because my new bed was coming, it then became from bad to worse.
First, in school, during recess when I was playing soccer, I pulled my thigh muscle. I was taking a goal kick, then it just snapped. Until now I still very pain, got difficulty to walk. My parents came to pick me from school. Waited for like half an hour in the sick bay. Got so bored. I never want to go in there again. I went to see the doctor after that, he said that it was a minor tear. Got excuse for pe for 1 week. The worse of it came when I went home.
The bed came then we thought everything was alright until we discovered that we had not enough space. Everyone was like in a bad mood, there was like a silence for god knows how long... We later came up with a plan, but it involved shifting a lot of furnitures. My leg was injured so my parents had to do it themselves.
Felt very guilty about that. My room and they still need to do all the work. After that, mood got a bit better, but still very angry about what happened in school. I should have known better then to put all my power in the kick, without carefully controlling it. Now , I am suffering the consequences of that. Serves me right. Got nothing else to blog about. Bye!
